AGRI EXPO

Updated: Nov 25, 2024

The annual short trip to Borderway Agri Expo did not disappoint - with a fantastic turn out of 70 Herefords to complete against our team had a successful day.

Moralee 1 Bond DC313

1st - Sept/Oct 23 bull class

Senior Male Champion

Reserve Overall Male Champion

Bond who was recently Reserve Junior Male Champion at the National Poll Show went one better this time and was awarded top spot. He is an embryo calf sired by Australian bull Days Calibre and dam Moralee 1 Kylie - who has produced yet another show winner. Weighing in at 760 kilos at 14 months old, he is beautifully dark and moves effortlessly and will be heading for the Stirling sale ring next February. Thank you to Steven O’Kane Keadyview who made a top job of showing Bond

Moralee 1 Kylie DC314

1st - September 23 heifer class

Yet another Kylie does it in the show ring! Also an embryo calf and full sister to Bond (Days Calibre/Moralee 1 Kylie).

Pairs Class

1st - Moralee 1 Bond DC313 and Moralee 1 Baz KS315

Moralee 1 Baz KS315

3rd - Sept/Oct 23 bull class

In the battle of the Moralee bulls that live in the same pen - Baz had to bow down to Bond this time! Baz was Junior Male Champion at the National Poll Show, but this week he was an excellent 3rd in this large bull class which was won by Bond. Sired by SMH Kingsize and his dam is Tynedale Sparkles - at 660kg also growing well for his age. Baz will also be heading for the sale ring next spring.

Young bull Moralee 1 Buckle was a respectable 5th in the March bull class. Concluding a great show for us.

Thank you to Cerys Mai Jenkins for travelling all the way from Aberystwyth to be part of Team Moralee. Congratulations to the Hereford breed for another great show. This was actually our second last show of the year!! This week we are headed across the world to Farmfair International  as spectators only!!
