Great end to season for Moralee Curly CI288
What an end to her show season our horned heifer Moralee Curly CI288 has had. The heifer was an embryo calf from our Designer Genes 2020 purchase Auckvale Curly 1831S and sired by Parkhill Pompeii. She was Horned Female of the Year in 2023 at under one year of age, and she has followed on from that success this year.
Only a few weeks ago winning her class at the Royal Welsh Show. Then last weekend at the National Hereford Show for horned cattle she was 2nd in her class and then went on to be awarded Reserve Intermediate Female Champion. She was joined at Tenbury by another from our Curly line…Moralee Curly BG316 - a daughter of Moralee Curly ECV30 (first born daughter of Auckvale Curly) and sired by Border General V85. At only 10 months old she just recently joined the show team, and she was 4th in a strong class - but we are sure there is more to come from this “pocket rocket”! We didn’t go home empty handed - winning the trophy for tidy lines
Thank you to the National Hereford Club for making us welcome. It’s funny how our little horned herd is growing - last year one entry, this year two entries - next year a team?!!
