Borderway Agri Expo

A busy but brilliant day at Borderway Agri Expo yesterday. The Hereford calf show was packed with over 90 entries so classes were highly competitive.

Even though just a year old our heifers Moralee 1 Sparkles PR285 and Moralee Curly CI288 continued there streak of wins both winning the their respective September and October classes. Curly - was named Horned Female of the Year just a month ago and continued to shine in the show ring.

The babies of our team Moralee 1 Kylie PR294 and Moralee 1 Ariat PR305 (making his show debut) both picked up rosettes in the classes but then together with Sparkles they won the Progeny Group of 3 class. All sired by Moralee 1 RHS Prince KR R8. First son of our 2017 Royal Highland Show Champion - Coley 1 Pippa 356 and by Cornriggs Knightrider. Our spring born calves are predominantly sired by him and what a consistent job he has made…and we are excited to be offering a daughter in Designer Genes sale this year. All will be revealed soon!

Thank you to the team who worked there socks off Charlotte Anderson, Jessica Anderson and Steven O'kane for his clipping artistry on a couple of the heifers
