TOP SALE FOR THE "STIRLING THREE"
A good day of business at United Auctions where our "Stirling Three" did us proud in the sale ring.

Clint - Lot 280
After being awarded the Champions tap in the show of Hereford bulls on Sunday, 16 month old Moralee 1 Clint PA381 found himself in a bidding war in the sale on Monday.

Eventually the hammer fell to Andrew and Emma Hodge of RM Herefords and Rulesmains Aberdeen Angus at 7,600 Guineas.
We are delighted with Clint's sale to the Hodge Family who are highly successful pedigree cattle breeders from Duns, Berwickshire.

Mink - Lot 282

First time away from home for this young heifer Moralee 1 Mink PA378 and she took it in her stride. Like Clint she is sired by a home bred bull Moralee 1 Panda, and she strutted around the sale ring with style.
Selling for 6,000 Guineas to new breeder Dave Lister, Fife.

Wispa - Lot 281
Not quite hitting the price in the sale ring - but with the help of the auctioneers Moralee 1 Wispa TE359 was sold just after the sale for 6,800 Guineas.
This sweet yet powerful girl is heading to E Innes & Sons, Glenlivet, and will be looked after by Roseanne who as a first time cow owner was attracted to the docility of the Hereford.
A big thank you to all three buyers as well as the under bidders for showing great confidence in Moralee cattle.
Good luck to all new owners and we very much look forward to seeing them progress.
Many thanks as ever to all at United Auctions - great effort by all to make it a successful sale.
Finally, thank you to everyone that gave us a hand over the weekend with Di still being under the weather - especially Emma, Maddie and Big Al. Also to Matty and Dad back home on the ranch.
We will be back in Stirling in October. We do hope the presence of Herefords continues. To encourage those breeders that didn't sell - we've been attending sales here for 3 years and selling has not always been easy. We have taken not sold cattle home from the sale before.
Keep trying, build yourself a marketplace and promote, promote, promote! The sale ring at Stirling is an amazing selling platform- use it!
