What a few days we had in Stirling!

Di travelled directly from Shrewsbury to Stirling by train on Saturday, and joined

Tom and the three heifers ready for the sale on Monday.

The sale of Herefords could not have gone better! All the heifers sold well to good homes, making it a truly successful day.

MORALEE 1 KYLIE AQ408

We don’t sell Kylies very often, so an intense bidding war ensued, resulting in an amazing price of 9,000 Guineas. A new centre record for a Hereford female. The winning bid went to Iain Wilkinson from Redstroke Herefords in Perthshire. We’re delighted that Iain finally got a Kylie, as he said himself!

MORALEE 1 SPARKLES RK392

Sparkles, a nearly two-year-old, in calf to stock bull Bawnlea 1 Firecracker, sold for 6,500 Guineas. She’s now with the Knowetop Herd of J B Torrance in South Lanarkshire.

MORALEE 1 WISPA RK412

This youngster caught the eye of fellow Northumbrian Nick Oliver from Fairshaw Herefords, who purchased her for 6,000 Guineas. Nick is a repeat customer, having bought Moralee 1 Kylie TE348 in the DGS online sale 2024. Wispas new home is just along the Tyne Valley at Hexham.

We’d like to thank all the purchasers and underbidders, and wish all the new owners the very best of luck.

Stirling, you were on fire! Thank you to United Auctions and Auctioneer Murray Steele.

We still have females and bulls for sale from home.

Visitors are always welcome.
