LOT 1 - MORALEE 1 BIG TIME RK349

This is not going to be easy to write, so much so is our love for this bull

But HE SELLS - Moralee 1 Big Time RK349 at Designer Genes Sale, Shrewsbury on 13th December.

Big Time is the ultimate in Moralee breeding.

His sire is Moralee 1 Rebel Kicks KS R12- multi interbreed winning bull in 2021 and 2024, and Hereford Breeder Champion of Europe in 2021.

His dam is the herd matriarch Moralee 1 Kylie - dam, grand dam and great grand dam of multiple show winning and sale topping males and females including Moralee 1 Kylie KS S3 - Hereford Breeder Champion of Europe in 2024. The influence of the Kylie line and Rebel Kicks progeny in the Moralee herd lead us to the hard decision of sending Big Time onto his exciting next chapter.

This 21 month old has had quite a story so far. Born March 2024, we did not show him as a calf last year and he made his show debut at Northumberland County Show this year where he was Reserve Male Champion.

From then on in there was no stopping him with a set of amazing results at major shows -

Royal Highland Show

Male Champion, Junior Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion. Top 5 placing in Junior Interbreed.

Great Yorkshire Show

Male Champion, Reserve Junior Champion. Beef Interbreed Pairs Champion with Moralee 1 Baz. Beef Interbreed Group of 3 Reserve Champion with Moralee 1 Baz and Moralee 1 Kylie PR294.

National Hereford Poll Show, Moreton in Marsh

Male Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion.

He is beautiful both inside and out. His character and quiet nature has made him one of the family, and he walks with a presence showing off his stature, length, shape, correctness and deep dark colour. Big Time has exceptional 200, 400 and 600 day weight figures with all in the top 1% of the breed. Homozygous polled.

Semen has been collected at home, with 100% of the collection frozen. A number of straws will be released as part of the Big Time deal with the rest retained for own use in the future.

Northumberland based. TB4 area, BVD accredited, Johnes Level 1. He will be Blue Tongue tested ahead of the sale. TB test was carried out over 30 days before the sale, but for Scottish interest parties arrangements could be made for retest.

Big Time is up there with the best we have ever bred and he proudly takes his place as Lot 1 in Designer Genes Sale.
